The 2026 Jones Talon Pro Splitboard Poles are ultralight, three-section collapsible poles engineered for serious backcountry touring. Combining carbon fiber and Titanal aluminum, they offer a balance of minimal weight and maximum durability, making them ideal for extended expeditions and demanding terrain.
Why we like it:
The Talon Pro's thoughtful design, like the integrated Scraper Grip and floating Snow Claw 2.0 baskets, demonstrates Jones' commitment to functional innovation, enhancing efficiency and reliability in the backcountry.
Highlights:
Featuring two carbon upper sections and a robust Titanal lower section, the Talon Pro Poles are both lightweight and sturdy. The dual-density EVA foam Scraper Grip includes a hard plastic edge for de-icing your board, while the extended grip allows for multiple hand positions during ascents. The Snow Claw 2.0 baskets are designed to float relative to the pole shaft, providing exceptional traction on various slope angles. Adjustable from 105 to 135 cm and collapsing down to 61 cm, these poles are versatile and packable.
