Created with photographer and author Ngoc Minh Ngo, Roses in the Garden is a 21st-century take on the medieval European tradition of scattering flowers on the table, a decorative flourish that also helped to mask the musty air of castles and manor houses. Each easy-to-clean woven placemat in the set of four features a unique image from Ngo's latest book, Roses in the Garden (Rizzoli) , a dazzling tour of the beauty and history of the rose through her stunning photography of famous gardens around the world. Pictured on this special edition are a selection of old heritage roses, modern hybrid tea roses, and English shrub roses from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
