Futagami's range of functional, minimalist daily objects take inspiration from the cosmos with their unique designs and patterns. The ray shaped lines of this solid brass coaster also offer a dual purpose; water droplets will pool in the grooves, meaning cups won't stick to the coaster when lifted. This eye-catching coaster is the perfect accent to your decor. Selector's Notes: Over time, the brass undergoes a transformation in colour due to natural oxidisation processes; within five years, a charming light-brown patina will develop, followed by russet hues when approaching twenty years. Item Details - MATERIALS: Brass, silicone ring ORIGIN: Takaoka, Japan CARE: The original lustre of the brass can be maintained through the use of a polishing cloth. It is recommended to keep the coasters dry after usage DIMENSIONS: 2 x 11.5 x 11.5 cm
