Tricky Willow Grub – Yellow
When trout are locked in on willow grubs, they can get stupidly picky. If the hook shows, they just refuse it. This fly hides the majority of the hook inside the body material, giving it that soft, natural grub shape that fool even the spookiest feeders.
Tied on a size 18, it’s tiny and deadly. Designed to sit right in the surface film, and if you’re fishing bubbled or broken water, just add a touch of floatant to keep it sitting perfectly.
Why it works:
-
Ultra-small profile for fussy, surface-feeding trout
-
Hook is buried in the body—more eats, fewer refusals
-
Sits in the film like the real thing
-
Perfect for willow grub feeders in both still and moving water
Tie it on, drift it clean, and watch the trout gobble it.
